Perlane®, like Restylane®, is made of hyaluronic acid, a filler already exists in the human body. This means that there is almost no risk of the body having a negative reaction to the injections. Perlane however is a thicker gel, hence the results lasts longer. Perlane is FDA approved for its use in treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Chhatre will inject Perlane® into you lines and wrinkles to "fill" or "plump" them up.
The results of a Perlane® filler treatment tend to last six months or longer.
Because it has a smoother consistency, Perlane® is more flexible than the other fillers and can be used for:
