Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique that helps repair facial skin that has suffered from sun damage or the effects of aging. The skin is naturally self-renewing. As old skin wears away, it is replaced by younger, fresher skin. As we age, this process slows, meaning that our skin cells are exposed to sun for longer periods of time, and grow older before they are shed. This increases the effects of sun exposure and can lead your skin to look dull, unattractive, and full of fine wrinkles.
Microdermabrasion is a way to speed up the process again and keep fresh new skin cells on the surface. We have a crystal free microdermabrasion machine called the Pristine Precision Diamond Peel- it is a state of the art microdermabrasion system combining the polishing action of laser cut diamonds with the cleaning action of a vacuum. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to reduce or remove fine wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation.
