What is Fractional CO2 laser?
   Fractional CO2 laser treatment is an exciting new technology, which successfully corrects many skin conditions.  This laser aims to offer all of the advantages of traditional CO2 laser with out its troublesome disadvantages.  It is safer and comfortable.

Am I a good candidate for Fractional CO2 laser?
  Anyone whose skin shows signs of aging are candidates for Fractional CO2 laser.  Best candidates have moderate sun damage, fine wrinkles, are in good health and typically take good care of their skin.

Is Fractional CO2 laser safe?
   Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing treatments are safe and effective without needing surgery or injections.  You can expect your skin to be flushed and red after treatments but this is short lived.  As long as you carefully follow your post treatment instructions, you will have a smooth recovery.

How long with the treatment take and will it hurt?
  The Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing takes about 30-40 minutes, there is a topical anesthetic applied to the skin for approximately 45 minutes prior to the treatment, which results in an almost pain less with a possibility of mild stinging treatment.

How many Fractional CO2 laser treatments do I need?
   The number of treatments necessary will depend on the skin condition being treated.  Most desired results maybe obtained with a single treatment but may need one or two additional treatments six months apart.

What should I expect after the treatment?
   Immediately following the treatment the skin may be mildly red and swollen.  These effects are normal and indicate a successful treatment.  Most redness and swelling disappear in 2-3 days.  You are able to apply makeup and resume normal schedule and activities within 4 days.
