Botox® is the most popular cosmetic treatment in the United States, with over four million procedures performed last year. Botox® is a synthesized protein that is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles over the face. The cosmetic use of Botox has been approved by the FDA since 2000. It has since gained a reputation as the safest and most effective cosmetic procedure practiced.
To treat your moderate to sever wrinkles, Dr. Chhatre will administer Botox via tiny injections into the areas of stubborn wrinkles, causing relaxation of those muscles causing those wrinkles. Botox is not a filler.
Botox injections are administered by Dr. Chhatre himself and are not delegated to his staff. Having administerd thousands of these injections, Dr. Chhatre is highly experienced in Botox treatments. This is an outpatient procedure done at Summit Plastic Surgery and Medspa and there is no downtime. During the procedure, you will feel very little discomfort. While it will take anywhere from three to five days to start seeing the results, you will enjoy approximately four months of beautiful results.
Our Botox days are usually scheduled for the first Friday of every month. There are some occasions where the day will be moved and we will let everyone know as soon as we find out.
